Life Hurts, God Heals...

We are a 12 step program just like AA or NA , but we know our higher power is Jesus Christ.
Celebrate Recovery exist to break the grip of sin in our life and offer hope that is only found in Jesus.

Life Hurts...

Welcome to Celebrate Recovery!  We are a 12 Step program just like N.A. or A.A., but we know that our higher power is Jesus Christ.  We meet every Thursday for a light dinner at 6 PM.  Large group begins at 630 PM with prayer and worship.  We read from the Celebrate Recovery Bible, we read the 12 Steps or the 8 Principals, and celebrate our recovery together.  We  have a lesson or a testimony, ending large group with the Serenity prayer around 730 PM.  We take a short break and then have open share.  The open shares are gender specific.  This is a great place to find a sponsor and strong accountability partners.  God tells us in Philippians 1:6 “being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”  Celebrate Recovery is a safe space.  Anonymity and confidentiality are cornerstones of Celebrate Recovery.  I like to say we are like Vegas, what happens here stays here!  My pastor tells me that is the only way we are like Vegas.

God Heals....

The reality is that only one out of three attend Celebrate Recovery for drug or alcohol addiction.  We all have hurts, habits, and hang-ups that keep us from being who God wants us to be.  We all have struggles.  It could be worry, stress, anxiety, divorce, bitterness, resentment, anger, loss, guilt, relationships, depression, sexual addiction, co-dependency, denial. Truthfully, we all need Celebrate Recovery.   Celebrate Recovery is about hope, freedom, and being who God wants us to be.  Jeremiah 29:11 tells us “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”  Beside our regular large group and open share, we do have periodic Step Studies.  A Step Study is an in-depth study of the 12 steps.  It is where the rubber meets the road and God works in you to come out of a denial and to heal from what brought you here.
No matter what your issue you will not find judgement or condemnation, but you will find healing, love, support, and a pathway to peace at Celebrate Recovery
